The richest man in the world

According to google, the richest man in the world is Jeff Bezos, which in one way is not wrong, if the richness of a person is measured in terms of money. According to me, the richest man in the world is a farmer, a person who works in acres, not in hours. He is the main reason for the survival of human species on this earth. Civilization has taken us far away from our reality. People nowadays consider that they cannot live without phones, laptops, cars, entertainment, etc. This has made us people ignore the importance of a farmer in our life. He is the reason we get to eat today. Every other business is hurting the earth in one or the other way but farming is the only business in this world which actually takes care of the mother earth. What has come from the earth, must get into the earth. Every farmer lives his complete life taking care of the earth just like a son must take care of his mother. Every politician speaks about the farmer being most important person for them but the harsh reality is that the farmer is the most ignored person.

Agriculture is the most healthful, most useful and the most noble employment in the world. In the world of civilization where people are converting the villages and towns into cites to bring up new factories and buildings, farmers are the only people who fight for their land and are not willing to sell it at any cost. This is because for a farmer, the piece of land where he grows his crops is closer to his heart than any other thing or person in the world. They are the only people who actually understand that this is our mother earth, who gives us our daily bread, takes care of our family and is the reason of our survival, so it is our duty to safeguard mother earth.

People nowadays ignore the after impacts of their deeds. For e.g. let us consider the most common practice of industrialization. People acquire the villages which are nearer to the cities and convert the agricultural land into business land and set up factories on that land. The farmer after losing his land is left with nothing except a little amount of money the receive against their land. Once the money is spent in their daily livelihood, there is no other source of income left for the farmer and his families. The children of such farmers then enter bigger cities in search of employment to satisfy their basic needs. But due to the improper education they have received, these people then turn into criminals and get involved in wrong activities. This does not justify their wrong activities, but we must understand that somewhere our civilized society is responsible for the increasing crime rate around us.

A farmer is indeed a true caretaker of the world. Every other business in the world is in one way harming the nature whereas on the other hand, farming is the only business in this world which does not harm the nature in any way. Every activity is in farming is completely residue free and there is no waste formed which would harm the earth. Even the waste produced during farming is converted into manure and is used to make the soil more fertile.

A farmer is the only person in our economy, who buys everything at retail and sells everything at wholesale and pays the freight both the ways. A farmer is usually dependent on the rain for his crops. If the rain supports the farmer, then there is no one who can stop a farmer from his growth and thereby a farmer need not spread his arms in front of anyone. If a farmer starts cultivating only for his/her family, rest of the world will die of hunger. It is high time and one must start actually taking care of the farmer as they take care of the complete earth.
